This is a fully funded PhD studentship at Bournemouth University focusing on movement ecology and conservation of threatened sea lamprey and European eel populations in reconnected rivers. The project investigates migration, habitat use, and responses to river reconnection to inform conservation management and river restoration efforts. It offers training in field surveys, tagging and telemetry, data analysis, and scientific communication, with opportunities to present findings at conferences and publish in journals.
