MacDowell Fellowship Applications Open for Fall–Winter 2026/27 and Spring–Summer 2027

MacDowell offers residencies to artists in seven disciplines, providing time, space, and a residential environment to focus on a project. Fellows receive a private studio, on-campus accommodations, meals, and up to eight weeks in residence, with no residency fees; need-based stipends and travel reimbursement grants are available to support access. Applications are accepted for Fall–Winter 2026/27 and Spring–Summer 2027 cycles.

Applicants must be working in one of the eligible disciplines listed and may not be enrolled in a degree-seeking program during the residency season.
