Goonj Fellowships – Grassroots in India

The Goonj Fellowship – Grassroots is a one-year immersive programme for youth from Indian villages to address rural challenges. Participants gain hands-on field experience on issues such as infrastructural development, menstrual health, education, livelihood, and disaster relief-rehabilitation, working with Goonj field teams across multiple states. A monthly stipend is provided and logistical expenses are reimbursed.

Monthly stipend; hands-on field work experience; capacity-building workshops; shadowing with sector specialists; exposure to rural issues and real-life tasks.

Open to Indian citizens aged 21-35, with a minimum qualification of Matriculation, who are willing to commit to a year of service in rural areas.

Applications can be submitted as hard copies or soft copies; selected candidates will be called for an interview.
