Beasiswa Japanese Studies 2026

Beasiswa Japanese Studies 2026 is a fully funded scholarship program offered by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) for one-year study in Japan. It targets university students in Indonesia pursuing S1 (bachelor) or D4 in literature or Japanese.language-related fields, aiming to deepen understanding of Japanese language and culture. Selected fellows receive full coverage of tuition, a monthly living allowance, round-trip airfare, visa fees, and housing support where available.

Active students at least in 3rd semester of S1/D4 in literature, language education, culture or Japanese studies; able to use Japanese language; 29 years old or younger as of 1 April 2026; must obtain internal recommendation from current university.

Applicants must prepare and submit listed documents (recommendation letter, application forms, transcripts, identity and language certificates) and undergo a selection process conducted by the administering authorities and participating universities.
