IOC Young Reporters Programme 2026

The IOC Young Reporters Programme is a long-standing IOC initiative that provides hands-on training and mentorship to aspiring sports journalists. It trains participants in writing, photography, broadcasting and social media, with guidance from leading professionals in sports media and aims to cover major sporting events, including the Olympic Games.

Hands-on training in sports journalism, mentorship by industry professionals, exposure to major sporting events, and coverage opportunities.

Aged between 21 and 25 at the time of the programme; proficient in English; a student or a young professional in journalism/photography.

Submit CV, motivation letter, copy of passport, certificate of enrollment (if applicable), two references, portfolio, proof of published work (if applicable), and a photo; all documents submitted in English.
