Canada Announces $100 Million Scholarship Fund for Indian Students and Introduces Hybrid Study Model

The Canada-India Talent and Innovation Strategy launched a $100 million funding program to support Indian students with fully-funded scholarships. The program, managed by the University of Toronto, will provide approximately 200 scholarships across undergraduate, master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral levels, covering tuition, living, and research expenses. It also introduces hybrid study centers enabling students to begin studies in India before completing degrees in Canada, with joint exchanges between Canadian and Indian institutions.
