Alstom Software Robotics Intern

The Alstom Software Robotics Intern is a hands-on internship role based in Singapore focused on designing, developing, simulating and deploying autonomous inspection robots from simulation to real-world trials. The role involves ROS 2 development, sensor integration (LiDAR, RGB-D, IMU), Gazebo/Ignition simulation, digital-twin work, and hardware assembly and testing. Deliverables include a working prototype in simulation and pilot deployment, documented code, datasets, test reports and training materials. The position targets students pursuing relevant technical degrees and involves collaboration with partners, stakeholders and clients.

Hands-on experience with robotics software and hardware, experience building a simulation and pilot-deployed prototype, documented code, datasets, test reports and training materials.

Pursuing a BSc or MSc in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
