NHR Scholarships 2026

The NHR Scholarships in Germany 2026 offer a funded PhD opportunity in the field of High-Performance Computing (HPC). The program is hosted at nine NHR Centers affiliated with German universities and provides a monthly stipend, research supervision, access to computing resources, and opportunities for training and networking over up to 36 months.

Monthly stipend of €2,200 for 36 months; research supervision by HPC experts; access to state-of-the-art computing resources; participation in training workshops, soft skills sessions, and mentoring; a 6-month secondment; professional networking and career coaching.

Open to international students who hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a closely related field and who meet the doctoral admission criteria of the chosen NHR Center.
