Gates Foundation AI Fellows Program 2025

The Gates Foundation AI Fellows Program is a 12-month fellowship designed to accelerate the responsible and impactful use of AI in global health, development, and education. Fellows join a prestigious cohort applying AI for public good, gain career-defining experience, and have access to Gates’ network and leadership exposure. Fellows work on high-priority projects across Foundation divisions and may develop tools, models, and prototypes to advance programmatic goals.
