Junior Leader Postdoctoral Fellowships (Fundación la Caixa)

The Junior Leader Postdoctoral Fellowships of Fundación la Caixa are three-year fellowships that support outstanding researchers in STEM disciplines to work at leading research centres in Spain and Portugal. The programme includes two modalities: Incoming for researchers relocating to the region and Retaining for researchers already established in Spain or Portugal. Fellows receive a research environment, leadership training and access to an international network of peers.

Minimum gross salary (~€47,000 per year), research allowance, international mobility allowance, family allowance, funds for leadership training, access to an international fellows network and opportunities for international placements.

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree, demonstrate academic excellence and strong research potential, meet mobility criteria for the Incoming category, and have proficiency in English for conducting research.
