French Institutes for Advanced Study Fellowship Programme 2026-2027

The French Institutes for Advanced Study Fellowship Programme offers 10-month fellowships at seven IAS institutes in France. It welcomes applications from high-level international scholars and scientists to develop their research projects in France. Fellows benefit from a multidisciplinary environment, organizational support, and access to institute facilities and networks.

Living allowance, accommodation or relocation support, research/training budget, travel expenses, access to institute facilities and libraries, equal working conditions with IAS fellows.

Open to researchers with a doctoral degree and at least 2 years of full-time research experience after the degree; applicants from all countries are eligible and must comply with the MSCA mobility rule.

Submit the online application form with a detailed CV, a PhD diploma, a research proposal, a list of publications, and three to five key publications; provide three to five letters of recommendation (optional).
