JournalismAI Academy 2025 for Journalists & Media Professionals

The JournalismAI Academy is a free online programme designed for journalists and media professionals to explore the potential of artificial intelligence. The 5-week course starts in July 2025 and selects a cohort from Sub-Saharan Africa to participate in the Academy, which is run by the JournalismAI team at the London School of Economics and Political Science and powered by the Google News Initiative.

Open to journalists and media professionals working in a newsroom. The programme selects 20 participants from Sub-Saharan Africa; freelancers and journalists outside the region are not eligible, and fluency in English is required.
