Cochran Exchange Program for Women in Agriculture

The Cochran Exchange Program is a short-term training for women working in the private sector of agriculture, providing a 2-3 week training in the United States. Participants gain knowledge on food product processing, packaging, and value chains, with a focus on agricultural sustainability, food safety, and women’s social and economic empowerment in farming communities.

Short-term training in the United States (2-3 weeks) with exposure to processing technologies, packaging, and value-adding concepts; learning about U.S. food systems and agribusiness considerations.

Open to women employed in agriculture in the private sector, interested in agricultural development, trade, and agribusiness management.
