ACU Early Career Conference Grants 2025

The ACU Early Career Conference Grants provide funding to support emerging researchers and the universities that employ them to attend in-person conferences in Commonwealth countries. Grants cover costs such as conference registration, flights, accommodation, visa costs, and travel/health insurance, up to a maximum of GBP 2,000. Recipients are expected to chair a session, present a paper, or present a poster at their chosen conference and to produce a completion report after the award.

Financial support up to GBP 2,000 to attend a conference, enabling professional development, networking, and dissemination of research findings.

Applicants must be an early career researcher/academic at an ACU member university, within 7 years of the start of their academic career (with certain provisions for career breaks), and must identify a conference in a Commonwealth country to attend during August 2025 to 31 July 2026, with participation as a chair, presenter, or poster presenter.
