SPIE Optics + Photonics 2026 Student Conference Support

The SPIE Optics + Photonics 2026 Student Conference Support provides a limited number of supplemental travel grants and/or a non-transferable conference registration fee waiver to eligible SPIE Student Members who are presenting an accepted paper in person at the conference. Awards reimburse domestic airfare and/or lodging up to $700, international airfare and/or lodging up to $1,000, and/or a conference registration fee waiver. Recipients must submit their manuscript for publication in the Proceedings of SPIE and comply with visa and reimbursement requirements.

Applicants must be SPIE Student Members with active membership through the conference dates, be the presenting author of an accepted paper, and be enrolled in a high school, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral program (not eligible if they have completed their PhD/ScD/MD).
