Salters' Chemistry Camp

The Salters' Chemistry Camp is a short residential chemistry programme for ninth-standard school students that offers hands-on practical activities, chemical demonstrations and an introduction to university lab and hostel life. The camps aim to promote appreciation for chemistry among students from diverse backgrounds and to inspire them to pursue chemical sciences at higher levels. The Salters' Chemistry Camps in India are part of the Inspirational Science Programme supported by The Salters' Institute and the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Hands-on practical laboratory activities, chemical demonstrations, peer interaction with like-minded students, and an experience of hostel life on campus.

Ninth-standard (grade 9) school students, with participants drawn from state government schools.
