Training of Children as Climate Rescuers

The Training of Children as Climate Rescuers is a project led by GREEN GLOBE, funded by The Pollination Project, that equips young people in Bamenda, Cameroon with knowledge, leadership skills, and practical experience to become environmental advocates in their schools and communities. It focuses on topics such as climate change, land degradation, biodiversity loss, and sustainable waste management, and established a student-led environmental club within the school.

Participants gain knowledge and leadership skills in environmental advocacy, practical experience through school activities, and involvement in an environmental club.

Twenty students from GBHS Down Town Bamenda were selected and trained as lead climate educators within their school.

Twenty students were selected for the program; no general application process is described.
