TPP Grant Powers Digital Access for 700 Rural Ugandan Youth

The Pollination Project grant-supported ICT4Education and Youth Empowerment initiative provides digital literacy training to rural youth in Uganda through a mobile computer lab, reaching 700 learners across eight schools. The program focuses on building basic computer skills and online research capabilities to enhance educational and employment opportunities.

Participants gain hands-on computer skills, including hardware and software basics, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Internet use; the program emphasizes sustainability by training teachers to continue the curriculum.

Beneficiaries are teachers and students in eight rural schools in the Busoga Region of eastern Uganda.
