Fortbildung zum Gruppendolmetschen

The Fortbildung zum Gruppendolmetschen is a bilingual training programme preparing participants to act as group interpreters for German–French youth encounters. The course combines theoretical input on language mediation and consecutive interpreting with practical exercises in realistic situations and exchange-pedagogy methods such as language animation. Participants study within a binational group and may continue with a certification module to obtain a DFJW certificate.

Training in consecutive interpreting and language mediation, practical interpreting practice, intercultural exchange experience, and eligibility to complete a 4‑day certification module to receive a DFJW certificate.

Applicants must be of legal age, have French language skills at B2 level and have already taken part in German–French exchanges; the programme addresses junior teamers interested in accompanying and linguistically supporting youth.
