Doutor AP — Concurso de Estímulo à Investigação para Doutoramentos na Administração Pública

The Doutor AP programme is a funding initiative by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) to support doctoral training for public administration workers. The first edition registered 467 applications, with funding including a protected time allowance and a training subsidy for doctoral studies. It aims to strengthen the link between science and public policy by enabling public sector employees to pursue a doctoral degree through research aligned with their institutions’ strategies.

Protected time for work on doctoral studies and a training subsidy to cover higher education costs up to €2,750 per year.
