Best Teacher Competition 2021

The Best Teacher Competition is an annual national contest run to identify and present outstanding teachers, promote the teaching profession and showcase successful pedagogical practice. Separate competitions are held for subjects including information and communication technologies, physics, chemistry, biology, natural sciences and mathematics, with one winner selected in each category. Candidates are evaluated on subject knowledge, pedagogical practice, creativity, student learning outcomes, innovative teaching methods, civic engagement and professional development.

Teachers of ICT, physics, chemistry, biology, natural sciences and mathematics from public and private schools in Georgia with at least 3 years of pedagogical experience may participate. Participation is voluntary and candidates may be nominated by themselves, school administration, local municipality or NGOs, resource centers or professional associations.

Candidates submit the required application form via the provided Google Forms link and must upload a maximum 3-minute video; the video should also be sent to the provided email address.
