EMBO Young Investigator Programme

The EMBO Young Investigator Programme is a cohort-based programme for early-career life-science group leaders that supports interdisciplinary research and networking. It recognises and supports researchers establishing their independent laboratories and fosters collaboration across disciplines. Participants join an EMBO community of peers and alumni for career development and scientific exchange.

Four years of funding for networking activities and collaborations; funded travel/meeting/visit support; access to training opportunities including EMBO lab leadership courses for investigators and lab members; membership of an international network.

Young group leaders in the life sciences based in Chile, India, Singapore, Taiwan and, in a pilot project, in Africa; eligibility criteria available online.
