Beat the Odds Scholarship

The Beat the Odds Scholarship is a need-based and merit-based award for first-generation, low-income high school graduates from Oregon to pursue a bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university in the United States. It provides renewable funding up to $20,000 total (up to $5,000 per year) and includes access to a network of past scholars and supporters. Recipients are selected annually and join a community that supports them throughout their college years.

Applicants must be graduating seniors from an Oregon public high school, be first-generation college students, demonstrate financial need, hold a minimum GPA of 3.0, and plan to enroll in a bachelor's degree program in the United States.
