UM Social Justice Scholarship

The UM Social Justice Scholarship is a fully funded award offered by Maastricht University for non-EU/EEA students pursuing the Globalisation and Law Master’s programme. It covers tuition and a monthly living stipend, aiming to support students who demonstrate a commitment to human rights and the rule of law. One full scholarship is awarded each year to a candidate from outside the EU/EEA.

Tuition fees covered, living allowance, health insurance, visa costs, pre-academic training, accommodation until July 2028

Applicants must hold nationality outside the EU/EEA (excluding Switzerland and Suriname), apply for the Globalisation and Law Master’s programme for 2027–2028, be no older than 35 years on 1 September 2027, and demonstrate a commitment to human rights and/or the rule of law.

Apply for the Globalisation and Law Master’s programme via Studielink by 10 December 2026, then complete the UM Social Justice Scholarship application form by 1 February 2027 and upload required documents.
