Aide financière de l'État pour études supérieures

The Aide financière de l'État pour études supérieures is a state financial-aid programme of Luxembourg for students enrolled in bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies. It provides means-tested financial support to guarantee access to higher education for students from households with limited resources. The award amount is capped per academic year and unpaid portions may be converted into a state student loan. Applications are processed by the Ministry of Research and Higher Education via the official MengStudien portal.

Direct financial support up to €4,876 per academic year, semester payments up to €2,438, and automatic conversion of uncovered part into a state student loan.

Students enrolled in a recognised higher-education institution at bachelor's, master's or doctoral level whose household taxable annual income is at or below 4.5 times the social minimum wage; applicants must provide official household income documents and proof of enrollment.
