Maastricht University NL-High Potential Scholarship

The NL‑High Potential Scholarship at Maastricht University (UM) offers 18 full scholarships annually to highly talented non‑EU/EEA students admitted to eligible Master’s programmes at Maastricht University. It combines the UM High Potential Scholarship and the NL Scholarship, covering tuition and living costs for the duration of the Master’s studies. Applicants must be admitted to a participating UM Master’s programme and meet age and academic criteria as specified by UM.

Applicants must hold nationality outside EU/EEA, apply for admission to a participating UM Master’s programme by 10 December 2026, be under 35 years old on 1 September 2027, have excellent academic results, and not have previously completed a full degree in the Netherlands.

Apply for a UM Master’s programme via Studielink.nl by 10 December 2026, obtain UM student ID, complete the scholarship application form via the UM portal, upload required documents, participate in selection (Feb–May 2027), and sign the award letter if selected
