IPY Planning Group (IPY-5)

The IPY Planning Group is a body within the IPY-5 process that invites international or regional organizations directly involved in polar research to join and contribute to planning, governance, and implementation of IPY-5 activities. Members may participate in task groups and help shape vision, priorities, and capacity-building for the programme. Participation typically involves contributing expertise and long-term engagement with IPY planning.

ISC Member organizations that are international or regional in scope and directly involved in polar research, with a commitment to long-term engagement in IPY planning.
