CFWH General Research Grant 2026-2027

The CFWH General Research Grant 2026-2027 provides funding to support innovative medical research that promotes women’s health. Grants are awarded to projects affiliated with a Canadian university or health care institution, with priority given to members in good standing of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada. The grant supports research projects directly related to women’s health and education and may be standalone or part of a larger project with deliverables achievable within two years or less.

Funding up to $20,000 to support the research project and related activities

Applicants must be affiliated with a Canadian university or health care institution able to provide ethics review in compliance with Canadian standards. Priority will be given to a member in good standing of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada. Research proposals must be directly related to women’s health and education and have clear deliverables no longer than two years.

Submit the required documents, including a cover letter, principal investigator CV, itemized budget, letter of support, and research proposal, to the CFWH National Office by the deadline; use the provided CFWH application form.
