The Sloan Indigenous Graduate Partnership (SIGP) provides funding and mentoring for graduate students at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry conducting research involving Indigenous peoples. Eligible fields include agricultural sciences; computer and information sciences; economics (including agricultural economics); engineering; life sciences; mathematics and statistics; natural resources and environmental sciences; physical sciences; and technology. The program provides funding support for tuition and stipends and offers mentorship opportunities through the national SIGP network. Award amounts and the number of awards vary.
