HIAS and IFSH Joint Fellowship Program 2027

The HIAS and IFSH Joint Fellowship Program offers a 3–9 month on-site research fellowship in Hamburg, Germany, for scholars with a doctoral degree. Fellows work with an IFSH tandem partner, participate in HIAS academic activities, and conduct independent research within a collaborative interdisciplinary environment. The program provides a stipend or reimbursement of home-institution costs, a workspace in central Hamburg, and access to research networks and support services.
