Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Oxford 2025

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Oxford funds a full-cost Master’s scholarship for African students to undertake a one-year taught Master’s course at Oxford, with additional leadership development and post-graduate opportunities. The program provides tuition and living expenses, logistics support, and a pathway to 4-6 month placements with Africa-based organisations after graduation, along with ongoing alumni and mentoring networks.

Tuition and living expenses, logistics support (flight, visa, health surcharge), settling-in allowance, leadership and lifelong alumni networks, mentorship, and career support through AfOx networks.

Open to passionate, locally rooted and globally minded African young people, with emphasis on groups historically under-represented in the African context.
