Primer Congreso Internacional “Abrir puertas, cerrar brechas. Por una ciudadanía informada, participativa e incluyente”

The Primer Congreso Internacional “Abrir puertas, cerrar brechas. Por una ciudadanía informada, participativa e incluyente” is a two-day event aimed at generating reflection, dialogue and exchange on the citizenship rights and participation of people with disabilities, including accessibility and access to information and knowledge. It was co-organized by UNAM and partner organizations, and featured lectures, panels and dialogues to advance an inclusive democracy and the right to read. The initiative seeks to strengthen collaboration among disability organizations, public institutions, libraries and civil society to foster inclusive participation and access to knowledge.
