AI for Science & Safety Nodes — Request for Proposals

The AI for Science & Safety Nodes RFP is a grant programme funding projects that use AI as the primary engine to advance science and to reduce AI-related risks. Selected projects may receive grant funding, access to private compute, office space in Foresight Nodes, and integration into a community and advisory network. The call spans three thematic areas: local compute, coordination and accountability, and AI-first science (bio, neuro, nano).

Grant funding (typical $30k–$100k), office space in SF or Berlin, access to private compute clusters, travel-paid field-building events, access to Foresight advisors and scientific network, possible incubation support for launching new Nodes.

Ambitious projects that use AI as the primary engine to advance science or improve AI safety may apply. Preference is given to projects willing to be active, in-person members of a Foresight hub (San Francisco or Berlin) and to AI-first, feasible teams able to deliver milestones within 1–3 years.

Submit a proposal via the organiser's application form; selected applicants undergo due diligence and report on milestones for tranche payments if applicable.
