Marie-Louise Peeters Prize for Medical Scientific Research

The Marie-Louise Peeters Prize for Medical Scientific Research is a category-3 prize awarded by the Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium. The prize totals EUR 75,000, of which EUR 5,000 is a personal reward and EUR 70,000 is intended for continuation of the research. It recognises a scientific monograph or a bundle of publications in the medical sciences and is intended for renowned researchers at the top of their field.

An individual researcher or two collaborating researchers may submit one candidature. Candidates must not have applied for a prize from the Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium in the twelve months before the submission deadline and must not be previous laureates of this prize. The prize is intended for renowned researchers who belong to the top of their field. The work must be a scientific treatise or collection of publications in Dutch, French or English and must not have already received an equal or higher prize; works written to obtain an academic degree are ineligible.

Complete the official form (web form) and attach: a one-page summary including how the research will continue; a file with the top 50 most cited publications from Web of Science; a PDF with up to 10 relevant publications (or a thesis). Do not submit other documents.
