Sommerakademie Von Kunst Leben

The Sommerakademie Von Kunst Leben is an annual summer academy that gives early-career artists core knowledge about the art market and the professional practice of being an artist. The programme focuses on developing a personal strategy for marketing and positioning an artist's work, and includes lectures, discussion rounds and an individual coaching session. Participants receive guidance from gallery owners, art consultants and speakers from the arts, foundation and media sectors.

The academy is designed for artists at the beginning of their careers, typically after completing studies or after an intensive period of artistic work, who have decided to enter the professional art sector.
