Norsk journalistikk

Norsk journalistikk is a grant programme run by the Fritt Ord foundation to support Norwegian journalism. The programme funds editorial projects aimed at the general public and is thematically open, allowing applicants freedom in topic choice and publication format. Support is intended primarily for concrete work that will be published rather than for operating costs or technical development.

Project grants to support the production of journalistic content intended for publication.

All independent, editor-led publications with Norwegian media users as the target group may apply; applicants can be editorial teams or named individuals, including freelancers with a publishing agreement. Projects should target the general public and applicants are encouraged to submit concrete project plans.

Apply via Fritt Ord's application portal and mark the application title field "Norsk journalistikk"; applicants should submit a 3–5 page project sketch with a timeline, content description, CVs for project staff and a budget with other funding sources.
