Center for the Governance of AI Winter Fellowship 2025

The Center for the Governance of AI Winter Fellowship is a three-month, in-person research fellowship based in Oxford, UK. It invites early-career individuals or established professionals new to AI governance to conduct independent research with mentorship from GovAI staff and affiliates, including participation in seminars and Q&A sessions. Fellows receive a stipend and travel support as part of a fully funded program.

£9,000 stipend, travel support to Oxford, lunch on weekdays, desk in GovAI office, visa support where applicable.

Open to early-career individuals or established professionals new to AI governance, with a multidisciplinary interest; candidates from a broad set of disciplines are welcome.

Applications consist of a written submission, a remote work test, and an interview.
