The Disaster Preparedness Consultant Roster 2025 (Home based, Remote)

Call for The Disaster Preparedness Consultant Roster 2025 is open now. The consultant will contribute to ITU/BDT's work on emergency telecommunications and disaster management, with responsibilities including supporting the UN Early Warnings for All initiative, dissemination of warning information, and coordination with governments and partners. The role is a home-based, remote consultancy with remuneration based on daily rates.

Remuneration for consultancy work

Education: University degree in international relations, development studies, engineering, business management or international policy. Experience: at least two years in emergency telecommunications, disaster risk reduction and management, or related fields; languages: English advanced; other official language of the Union advantageous.
