Mellon SAR Fellowship 2026

The Mellon/SAR Academic Freedom Fellowship is an international research program designed to support scholars working on issues related to academic freedom and higher education values. It is funded by the Mellon Foundation and implemented by Scholars at Risk, offering a research stipend and access to a global scholarly network. The fellowship lasts about eight months and includes regular virtual workshops and opportunities for collaboration and dissemination.
