ABC International Development (ABCID) Future Voices Program 2026

A year-long program bringing together emerging media professionals across Southeast Asia to foster ethical journalism, cross-cultural collaboration, and regional networks. The program blends online learning with a two-week in-person intensive in Australia, with 11 participants traveling to Melbourne to earn a leadership and climate change micro-credential, receive training at the ABC, and engage with Australian climate institutions. Participants will develop personalized leadership action projects with mentoring support and may participate in an in-country intensive course in Australia.

Leadership and climate change micro-credential, training at the ABC, participation in the All-Energy Australia conference, engagement with Australian climate institutions, and mentorship for a leadership action project.

Open to early to mid-career media professionals from Southeast Asia.
