The Borel Global Fellows Program supports graduate studies at Iowa State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences for students committed to improving African food security and rural development. Fellows pursue graduate programs related to Agriculture and Food Systems, Agricultural Development, Rural Livelihoods and Poverty Reduction, or Nutrition and Food Security, with a focus on conducting field-based research in Sub-Saharan Africa and returning to work in the region after completion. The program provides funding to support graduate stipends and research expenses for Master’s and PhD students.

Требования к участникам
Applicants must be citizens of Sub-Saharan African countries, be admitted into a graduate program in ISU’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and commit to pursuing studies and research in a way that strengthens food security in Sub-Saharan Africa.
