Bingwa PLUS Initiative Y-Health Incubation Program 2025

Bingwa PLUS is an incubation program for young African health champions, run by the Africa Centres for Disease Control ( Africa CDC ) in partnership with GIZ, the African Union Office, and YouthHubAfrica. It aims to strengthen participants' ability to design, resource, and manage community health initiatives, with a four-month incubation and opportunities for mentorship, webinars, and funding support. Successful applicants can receive small grants and further support to scale their projects.

Weekly expert-led webinars, access to an online platform, membership in a regional network of Young Health advocates, opportunity to pitch ideas to a continental audience, small grants up to USD 3,000, tailored mentorship, and scale-up support for further funding opportunities

Citizens of AU member states, aged 18-35, with scalable, youth-led health initiatives and a plan for a four-month incubation.
