Summer School Data Science for Sustainable Finance and Economics

A blended intensive summer school on applications of quantitative methods and data science to sustainable finance, energy and a decarbonized economy. It combines lectures, self-study materials and teamwork on a practical project provided by industry partners. The programme targets university students and concludes with a practical project and ECTS credit recognition. The event includes an online phase and an on-site phase at HTW Berlin.

No tuition fees; 3 (5) ECTS (depending on home university); lectures, self-study materials, teamwork on an industry-provided practical project; possible travel scholarships for eligible students.

Open to Bachelor, Master and PhD students; at least 5th semester Bachelor students in Data Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields. Programming experience in Python or R is desirable and English proficiency between B2 and C1 is required.
