Space Camp

A residential educational camp run by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center that immerses youth in astronaut training techniques, simulated space missions and STEM-focused activities. The program runs for six days and five nights and includes hands-on exercises such as simulators, model rocket construction and an educational film. It is designed to teach problem solving, teamwork and introduce aerospace career opportunities. Sessions are offered as week-long expeditions across the summer.

Six days and five nights of residential programming, astronaut-training simulators, model rocket building and launch, educational water activity, simulated spaceflight missions, and an educational film in the National Geographic Theater.

Ages 9-11; nine year olds must have completed or currently be enrolled in the 4th grade.
