Indian Space Hackathon 2026

A problem-solving hackathon organised by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) focused on space technology and applications. It is open to student teams working on ISRO operational problem statements such as data analysis, satellite image interpretation, software tools, algorithms, and hardware–software integration. Shortlisted teams proceed to evaluation rounds that can include virtual presentations and on-site assessments at ISRO centres or partner institutions. Winners may receive short-term internships, certificates, networking with ISRO scientists and the possibility that their solutions are considered for further development or implementation.

Genuine students pursuing undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) or doctoral (PhD) programmes at Indian institutions may participate; teams (or occasionally individuals as per category rules) register online.

Teams (or eligible individuals) sign up online via the ISRO registration portal or event website and submit solutions to provided problem statements; shortlisted teams advance to virtual and/or on-site evaluation rounds.
