Fribourg Winter School in Data Analytics and Machine Learning

A short winter school offering one- to three-day courses in state-of-the-art quantitative tools for predictive and causal analysis, using Python, R and KNIME. Courses cover topics from introductory to advanced levels in regression, machine and deep learning, and text analysis. The program is offered in hybrid format with in-person sessions on the Pérolles campus in Fribourg and online participation; sessions are not recorded. Successful participation (including examinations) can be credited with up to 5 ECTS.

Up to 5 ECTS credit points (if recognized by home institution), certificate of participation (without grade if exam not taken), and the option to take a graded take-home exam.

Open to BA students, MA students, Ph.D. students, academic researchers (such as post-docs and professors) at the University of Fribourg and at other universities or research institutions, as well as to employees of private companies and the public sector.
