Programma JPO

The Programma JPO (Giovani Funzionari delle Organizzazioni Internazionali) places junior professionals in international organisations, generally with the status of UN Professional Staff at P2 level. The positions are intended to support international cooperation activities while giving young professionals relevant experience for an international career. Appointments are normally for two years, extendable to a third year upon request of the receiving organization and shared costs.

Appointment as Junior Professional Officer with status equivalent to UN Professional Staff (P2) and a contract of two years, extendable to a third year.

Applicants must be no older than 31 in the year of application, hold Italian citizenship (except for positions dedicated to candidates from developing countries), have excellent knowledge of English and Italian (except for positions dedicated to candidates from developing countries), and hold a relevant university degree (master’s degree, single-cycle degree, or bachelor’s degree accompanied by a university master).
