SI:s stipendier till sommarkurser i svenska för studenter

Svenska institutet offers scholarship places for students to attend summer Swedish language courses. The scholarships are intended for students of Swedish at universities listed in SI's address directory. Participating students receive admission letters that can be used for visa applications and nominated scholarship places are allocated by SI together with course organisers.

Scholarship places are reserved only for students of Swedish at universities that are included in SI's address directory; each university/institution may nominate up to five students.

Students apply via the course organiser's website; at the end of March students must email their application to the course organiser. The Swedish teacher must email a certificate of language level and a ranked list of nominated students to the course organiser, and the ranking (only) is also emailed to Viktor Hennius at SI. Course organisers send admission/rejection letters in early May; SI and organisers finalise allocations in a joint Zoom meeting.
