South African Reserve Bank External Bursary Scheme 2027 for undergraduate studies

The South African Reserve Bank External Bursary Scheme provides scholarships and bursaries to qualifying undergraduates as part of addressing skills shortages in South Africa. It targets students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have provisional acceptance into an undergraduate degree at a South African university and meet academic and financial-need criteria.

Applicants must have provisional acceptance into an undergraduate degree at a South African university; have achieved an average of 70% in the June Grade 12/Matric examinations; be younger than 30 years; and be in financial need.
