UNHR Summer Fellowship Program 2026

The UNHR Summer Fellowship Program 2026 offers a nine to ten week opportunity in Lisbon, Portugal for law and graduate students, as well as exceptional undergraduates with experience in human rights and/or social justice, to contribute legal research, writing, and organizational support to UNHR’s community-based human rights projects under supervision.

UNHR can provide funding in exceptional cases, based on demonstrated need and unique skills or experience. They encourage seeking additional funding through the university, external scholarships, and other sources where possible.

Open to law and graduate students, as well as exceptional undergraduates with demonstrated experience in human rights and/or social justice.
